The Den Bed (Waterproof)

Our Medium waterproof Den Bed suits most large-breed dogs. It measures 100cm across and 37cm high, with an inner mattress 87cm across. If your dog is close to that size, or likes to stretch out, go up to the Large, which is 125cm across with a 110cm inner mattress. The cover is a tough 600 denier PVC-backed polyester that is waterproof and resists wear and tear. It wipes clean with a damp cloth, or comes off for the washing machine. The zips are hidden away from your dog for safety and a neat finish. Inside is the same orthopaedic memory foam mattress and high bolster walls as the fabric Den Bed.

Yes. The orthopaedic memory foam mattress supports joints, muscles and bones, which makes it a good choice for older dogs with arthritis and for puppies with developing joints. The high, padded walls give them something to lean on as they settle. Because the outer wipes clean, small accidents and wet coats are easy to deal with.

The shape, sizes and memory foam are the same. The difference is the outer. The waterproof Den Bed is made in a wipe-clean 600 denier fabric in five colours: Black, Burgundy, Grey, Olive and Royal Blue. The fabric Den Bed comes in 16 softer upholstery fabrics. Choose waterproof for muddy dogs and fabric for a softer feel.

Not really. It has the same round, high-sided shape as our award-winning fabric Den Bed, handmade in Manchester, so it looks at home in a living room as well as a boot room. Yes. The high bolster walls make a snug, draught-free retreat for dogs who love to curl up, with an orthopaedic memory foam mattress underneath. Because it is waterproof, it is practical for a kitchen or utility room too. For extra warmth, add a faux sheepskin blanket on top.
